ccMixter favorite remix target Brad Sucks has posted his favorite remixes as an online album featuring ccmixter found remixes by DU and yours truly.

Mine has a slightly interesting back-story: I used many samples from the WIRED CD including some samples from the beastie boys. the problem was that the beastie’s song is licensed non-commercial and brad has plans to sell the album — so i had to go back and replace the scratchy bits i used from Get Busy with some home-brew versions of them — hence the version I gave to Brad called the ‘Money Mix’

Cool. I think I’m going to email Brad and ask if I can link him to Cyberbusker. My goal w/ Cyberbusker is to eventually get together a bunch of online albums to get people used to the idea of downloading and donating. If anyone here has an online album I’d love to link your website too. : )

And umm… hate to be a narc but what about the Thievery Corp. samples? Were those re-created too? ; )
