Impressive. I like the contrast between the airy Irish voice, a djembe african percussion and a dense guitar carpet with amazing electronic fxs (one seems a guitar convoluted with water drops, which I also tried somewhere else). You’re right, the pella is gorgeous, but I guess queeniemusic might have had something very different in mind when posting this, and she’ll be amazed at this as I am now.

Thanks Carosone. If it is the fx I think it is… it’s an acoustic guitar processed with the soundhack spectralcompand plugin. Originally, I was trying to reign in some aspect of the guitar - and found that bubbly effect. The soundhack plugs are worth a look, if you have not already.

I think it’s a wonderful treatment of the vocal and I like the instrumentation better than my own mix! I love seeing what CCMixters do with the raw material and this one is truly exceptional.

Mesmerizing, sounding both ancient and contemporary, rich with sonic and rhythmic details that captured and held my attention. Just lovely.

What a lovely rendition! I like it much better than the original material, I think this remix is far better than the sum of its parts. The use of djembe and effected guitar is captivating, also I love the occasional use of thick chorus around the vocal. Dream of Flight is almost released, should be all said & done by Feb 2010, after which I’ll be posting many more pellas and stems. Remixes like this one are very motivating.
