Love the tense, frightful soundscape! The high-end squeals suggest horror, and their increasing rate along with the ratchet induce madness.

Interesting conversation in the last part about tinnitus — very appropriate following the high-end frequencies.

Love the hairpin turn of emotional interpretation (I hadn’t read the description before listening); initially, my brain’s picturing empty space stations, cemetery gates, the bowels of a long-abandoned factory, etc. BTW, apparently variations of noise (as in white noise, pink noise, rain, waterfalls, and so on) are the most useful for providing relief for tinnitus sufferers ;)
