This is a very pretty and a very original sound painting that uses the sources like instruments: you’ve created your own original composition, unlike the originals in every way.

It is by turns mellow and haunting. I like it.

The Admiral put it well. Original. You’re getting a reputation (in my head) as the ambient mash-up guy. Something I don’t think I’ve heard here on ccM, and my favorite things to hear are things I haven’t heard before. This piece is wonderful.

Quote: septahelixya’ll are both amazing musicians…While that’s certainly true of Admiral Bob I’m always quick to point out that I’m not a musician at all. More a sound editor with a decent (albeit non-standard) musical instinct. I mean - I have instruments and I’m not afraid to use them, but if you put a sheet of music in front of me or asked me to play along with someone live I’d be dead in the water.

i’m kind of the same way. although i taught myself music theory on guitar and then keyboard, and can read music, albeit not sight read, i don’t feel like a real musician like bob either.

i echo the sentiment of the good admiral and speck (the king of glitch and other creative endeavors). this is so unique and haunting in inspiring ways. thank you for including me in your creation.

Feels like an epic musical march (Lord of the Rings-style)… a gripping, unsettling, and simultaneously enticing adventure… In summary, I like it. Thank you for including my sounds in your journey.

Ahh now. I didn’t check the sources to see where the piano is from, but this is definitely a sort of “dark-side-of-the-moon-light-sonata”, if that makes sense.

Chopin would be proud. :)

Nice one.
