loved reading your introduction and am delighted by this work. your words are introspective, igniting, intellectual and soulful. “I am unstrung theory” — brilliant. the way you included Kara’s vocals is so perfect — placement musically and in meaning and theme. i’ve always loved spinning and this just takes it to a new level. this is one of my favorite productions from you. i have chills. beautiful work from both of you — love you how both spin in the spiral.

tired of waiting … I know how that feels. Love how it builds and love how you’ve separated the way the L and R how they spin together inside the middle of my head.

Whoa… incredible. It is an honor to have your words, voice, emotion building upon this piece. It is poetic that you only had your uke to work with… and perfect. (As the uke is my current musical obsession.) Ummm… yeah… I more than approve. I’m touched. I love the direction your poem took this… I love your poetry… the way you connect words… thoughts… this is amazing. Thank you.

I must do a shout out to CSoul and trivient- as the music is a remix of CSoul’s remix of trivient’s loops. And I added the “NSFW” tag to this… I cursed up a storm in the second half. :)

Thank you, Rob.

Thanks Kara. You already know how much I love your work, so drawing you was a stroke of February Fortune! I think it’s important to respect the integrity of the work that you’re remixing but to take it in a new direction. I hope I’ve done that. There was no way that I was going to leave out “to make a fucking buck” in the remix. I love the way you spit these words out, the fricative mouth percussion. It summarises the whole environmental inaction thing into five cynical (yet heart-felt) words.
So glad that you approve of my remix.

This is some heavy duty writing that hits close to home right now. Beautiful work. Bravo!

Sorry I missed this. Glad it floated back to the surface (via annablooms mix). An excellent co-mingling of yourself and Kara’s self. Really well done.
