Great new song lullaby and source tracks
Nice mic setup btw. What type did you record it with? Sound is crystal pure.

Thank you kindly! The mic is an Audio Technica AT2020. It is my go-to mic for recording vocals and ukulele.

Great tune and the concept book/CD sounds intriguing as well. I may be biased though with four cats in the house. Also listening I couldn’t help but hear maybe a kinder Bertolt Brecht thing going on. Anyway…

Thanks, Speck! I’m glad you like the concept for this… it’s been quite fun to do so far. I love that you love cats. I’m not familiar with Bertolt Brecht… anything in particular I should check out?

“I love that you love cats.”

Well I didn’t say that exactly.

“…not familiar with Bertolt Brecht…”

Oh, you probably are. Three Penny Opera, Mack The Knife…
Here’s another tune from the Three Penny Opera (1928) as sung by Marianne Faithfull.

Apologies for my inaccurate inference. :)

And right you are… “Mack the Knife” is familiar… cool, cool.

I do like cats. Probably more than they like me. Or anyone for that matter. Which is I guess what I like about them. Their independence. Give ‘em some food and a warm place to curl up and nap and they’re purrfectly content.
