this is a lovely mix. the vocal edits are perfectly wrapped in your sonic soundscape.

i really love your commentary. perhaps it is through connecting that will we will evolve. i certainly feel that is happening for me at ccMixter - my connection with everyone here is evolving me musically, personally, and more….

mysterious, poignant mix….thank you for including me!

Thanks for posting such a great sample. It was a good idea to use that reading. Sustainability is a worthy cause, and it’s fun to be able to participate.

Sounds like the space between my ears. Your ambient textures and theta state inducing resonances sound great under the words of wisdom. NREM begins…

Theta state inducing indeed matched with Great Wording a Mix Masterpiece Gordon and Your own words on the Ram Cam were awesum!
inspired my thinking of a CCmixter Convention in Texas! they claim that texas will be the first State to recover from the resession.

It would be great to have a ccmixter or creative commons meeting here! Texas hasn’t been as hard hit as some areas, in some measure because we did not ‘boom’ as much as some areas. Yet the tough times afflict many here, too, and a celebration of sharing would be just the thing.

This is very beautiful and very gripping, Gurdonark. I love your thoughtful, uplifting piece of writing but I don’t have much faith in the human race. I hope you are right and I’m wrong. xxxx

I tend to the pessimistic side on many aspects of “human nature”, too, but I have come to believe that groups of folks who want to make a difference and work at it often do make a difference. My hope is that in our little sphere of sharing music, we can make our own kind of difference. Thanks for the kind words on the mix.

It’s been a very long day. The lights are out. Despite my intention to allow my mind to wander in sound, I find my attention captured and held — the broad strokes of sound creating tension supporting the well chosen text. Wow.

Thanks for such a kind review! I think you and I must be in a competition this year—who is having the most busy work situation. I am afraid you’re winning the contest!
