Nothing like a little rough-electro with a Staples Singers keyboard line thrown in. Love the organ. The bottom end is not as raucous as I’m expect with this lyric.

Any time I hear so many 70s things going on, I’m happy, which makes me wonder if I’ve grown old when I was not looking.

You really are showing your versatility lately.

Next thing you know you’ll get a reader for the flight from Moscow in “War and Peace” and give us a Tchaikovsky-trip-hop.

(Laughing)Thanks! Who knows? Not me, I just go where the moment takes me. The not-so-raucous bottom end was a victim of my imperfect EQ/mastering ability- the kickdrum pattern was pretty busy, and the waveform of the synth seemed to have a lot in the lower mids rather than bass, and I was trying to EQ for balance/punch; the vocals/drums won, and the synth line got a little buried, but it was a compromise to get a mix that sounded relatively OK in both speakers and headphones. I’m a child of the 70’s, so there’s probably a lot of subconscious influence there ;)

Great!
Love the ambiant, electronic and old’school feeling.
Reminds me of some Afrika bambaataa and Soul Sonic Forces.

Your choice of Acappella is always excellent and what you do with it, too. It’s always joyful, funny, ironic. I really like this kind of ‘Hip-hop’, in the ‘Eminem’s way’. The keyboards parts are excellent..Nice piece..Nice piece..
