Mmmmm, luuuuverly, Admiral sir. I’d be happy to finish every evening at the pizza parlour - or at home for that matter - with this version of Panu’s most beautiful song. xxxx

As a guitar player I immediately gravitated to the Mark Knofler tones in the riffs surrounding Panu’s vocals. I could totally feel like I was in a pizza parlor, just before closing, and this track was playing in the background—nice title!

we’re all the winners when the muse decides to sit on your shoulders & start ladling out the inspiration. this is just outstanding! (tip of the week: hold on to that strat!!!).

Telecaster, actually. The Strat stayed in the guitar stand for this one.

Thanks for the beautiful song. The rest kind of did itself. :)

I think this vocal/guitar lead works really well as Panus lyrics are often short lines and single statements so you fill the gaps really well.

I would have said it was a Strat from your phrasing although i have a Tele but in over 10 years i have never played it.

Do you play the lead guitar with fingers or with pluck? It sounds a bit like Mark Knofler.
Great mix.

I don’t play the electric guitar with a pick; I find I can get more control over the sound I’m trying to get if I just use my hands and play fingerstyle.

An outstanding straightforward delivery of a beautifully written song. Great sound quality too.

Very Knofler-ish indeed. . Listening to your version and comparing with panu’s scratch demo, is extremely educational for me, arrangement-wise. Oh, as I listen to your track, I’m just about to complete a remix of panu’s upload too (only left the bass part to go). I know one shouldn’t be so self-conscious and all but I can’t help it — I’m soooo glad I’m hearing your mix now rather than earlier. If I had, I’m not sure if I would’ve made an attempt. :)
