We discussed this question… Yes, they can be part of the Whale Song event, as the theme totally fits. While remixes that don’t include Oscar Frey’s whale song samples won’t be considered for an album release, we definitely don’t want to stifle anyone’s creativity or participation in the event with strict rules. Plus, Oscar’s whale samples could be easily integrated in these remixes and all of the samples are included with the uploads. I hope this sounds reasonable to all. Thank you!
