I took a train once through an alpine part of Switzerland. Out the window everywhere was the fragrant aroma of larch trees. The train went through deep tunnels through the face of sheer rock as if the mountain was made to be carved into train-spaces. This mix is uncompromising, lovely and alpine, from its forceful bottom en to the inescapable repetition at the end, like the sound of train over track, over track, over track. Intriguing.

Yeah, the mix is some what like looking over the mountain side on an Alpine road ‘:0) If Alfred Hitchcock was alive making high drama movies, this would be a candidate for audio.

I love the transitions between a loosely kept garage beat, and thundering speed metal. :)

The sharp bird like synth in the middle was a little hard on the ears, but that might be me: I’ve listened to a lot of music in the last few hours.

sorry about the frequencies. my ears were buzzing but i thought it was just the repetition. i was inspired to upload a new mix with eq, gated drums and some mountain train samples from freesound. so might be worth a listen. a safer listen hopefully.

I’d have to agree with the admiral about the sharp sounds. Maybe dial it down a bit, but overall very successful.

i’m exploring a tunnel of underground sound, at first moving slowly, with uncertainty, but then a speck of light illuminates and moves me forward into warmth and sun.

i love the use of those high pitched samples. i would bet you could just turn them down a db or two in the mix, maybe EQ out a bit of the edge, to add to the suggestions of the others.

a very creative, artistic track. i dig it.

I love how you made all the other samples match the quite complex shuffles of shufflexity drums so perfectly. Great mashup!

Intense, dramatic. Certainly an adventure!
