This is mint. So much so, I decided to use it as the presentation piece for the written work itself in a video I made right here ——> https://youtu.be/OLV6Er9Tyrk
Thank you so very much 😌🙏

That’s a cool video Hektor, the clips you choose work wonderfully well with the music. Some of the scenes are actually very close to what i ‘saw’ when doing the track. Thanks man. 👏

Hello old friend…This is a great bit of work. The samples and additions are perfectly deployed, and you didn’t forget the most important sample of all…**silence**

Hektor should know though that no woman is uncomplicated…just sayin’…:-)…

Hi there, how nice to read from you after so many years. But, just to be on the right track here (as a non-native english speaking person), complicated is not the same thing as difficult right?

I’m sorry. We Americans are so impressed with the rest of the world’s English that honestly we forget. And I use a pretty wide range of expressions. My own family doesn’t know what I’m saying. “Complicated” is multi-faceted. Most men see a problem and they just say ok how can I fix this. A woman is going to look at it and say what if I do this, what if I do that, are someone’s feelings going to be hurt, is this the right thing at the right time? So yes, all that thinking could be viewed as “difficult” because it’s not easy to get stuff done, but not just saying no or being mean or stubborn or something. Does that help? Hope the family is well, and the women in your life don’t read this :-).

Within the context of the poem I conjure up simple and uncomplicated to convey how something or someone can make one feel - not how something or someone is. Simple and uncomplicated is how this “her” makes “him-her?” feel…

Now…, on man in general being uncomplicated and women in general being complicated… well…, hmmm - here’s the thing! In my humble opinion, men and women are both equally emotionally molded humans of their respective environments. Some “people” are considered or consider themselves complicated while with others is the opposite. I believe is all in the perspective - not the gender. We are all cool and mysterious in our minds. Outside of our minds we are whatever we are perceived as - in this case a vessel of plain-vanilla.

Thanks for discerning meaning. Is what we live for - ain’t it? 😌🙏

I’m sorry. I know better but I keep making the same mistakes over and over again. No one should speak in terms of qualities that men or women have because binary genders are basically a myth, and all humans have the same range of possibilities of character traits and abilities. I have some old beliefs that won’t leave my mind, like guests at a dinner party that don’t know when it is time to go home. :

Also, meaning in poetry is also a deeply personal thing and I appreciate your sharing your thoughts. My comment was not my deep reaction, because when a poem speaks to me, it goes directly into my heart and my word forming brain does not have access to those feelings for expression. I don’t think I’ve ever left a comment on the meaning of words anyone has put up here as lyrics or a spoken word pell.

A rather famous showman (in Italy) said this a pair of days ago in a TV show “Abbiamo molte anime da nutrire” (We have many souls to nourish). Well, I think that this is absolutely true, and I often feel disgregated for not being able to entirely accomplish this. But everyday life is often complicated… To be able to preserve creativity is often a little miracle… A magic :-)
