chord chart & instrumentation on this takes it way past the trad blues song & into the realm of apalachian blues soundtrack. Anchor sits beautifully in the mix & the track moves with the power & angst it deserves.

unexpected and definitely dark - an unusual yet captivating atmosphere with a tinge of Weltschmerz. I really liked it Briareus…good job in the film noir department.

The power of the track at no time undermines the pathos and tenderness of Anchor’s vocal, and at all times suggests a wounded lover wandering forever down a dusty trail accompanied only by his longing (and the long pan of the cinematographer’s lens). Loved listening!
