Man, I thought no one dug this story. Thanks for proving me wrong. I’ve never watched CSI, so the music actually reminds me of the Manhunter score. I like the mellow feel, and the guitar work is great!

Thanks for the review. I like your piece - the challenge here is in preserving the integrity of the work. Chopping it would ruin the continuity of the story.
I tried to keep the music to background, soundscape, ambient accent. The music needs some work: EQ and remastering mainly, and the key change isn’t as smooth as it could be. But I wanted to put it out there since the story is so good.

Thanks for that. It means a lot, believe me. I’ll be jamming to your stuff, too.

I replaced the mp3 with a new version. Remastered, better EQ, added a low synth part. Perhaps this is an improvement.

Woa, pretty neat stuff Briareus. I really like the tempo slow-down towards the end where the drums fall away. It serves well to highlight the words, I noticed you’d already use this trick to highlight “tina” in the middle of the mix, breaking things up a little but I’d be tempted to stop almost everything at that point and slowly piece together the mix - like the solving of the crime where everything “adds up” building intensity towards the end.

Just an idea :) ….nice mix though, and great ambient guitars.

Thanks. I find myself falling back on the familiar - I drop almost everything for 16 measures then hit it it hard with the full monty. I’ll try building it up on one of my next pieces. Thanks for listening.
