Hi I’m Helena Jesele - singer/songwriter born in Manchester, England, raised in Dublin, Ireland.
Grew up listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Frank Sinatra amongst others, and began singing at 5.
Left university after studying Art History and worked selling fine art during the day, becoming a Jazz singer by night at London clubs: Ronnie Scott’s, la Pigalle and Cafe Royale.
Got together with Truth and Soul; Brooklyn, New York based musicians and producers December ‘10. Result: Irish Spirit, New York Soul!
