On the night my best friend died, I awakened with this song. I didn’t know she had died until the next day.

Ann Taylor was married to the Baron, jazz trumpeter Freddy Taylor, who played with Duke Ellington, was friends with Billie Holiday & Louis Armstrong, and owned a club in Paris. Ann was a former Vogue model who got addicted to heroin for 40 years, and got clean in her late 60s. She was an inspiration to many people.

All my songs (music/lyrics) are dedicated to generate creative energy for answers & solutions to child abuse/neglect. So, every remix, arrangement, play, listen goes to this cause. Thanks!

ALL MY LIFE

There is nothing I wouldn’t do
if you just let me make love to you.
There is nothing I wouldn’t say
to be certain I could live my way.
All my life,
I’ve been waiting for a natural high, oh my darling.
All my life.

When you walked out my door,
I knew that you’d be back for more.
When our time would move to fast,
I prayed that it would last and last.
All my life,
I never want to say goodbye, oh my darling.
All my life.

During moments when I was sad,
I’d wrap my arms around the fun we had.
During moments when I was low,
I’d surrender to my spirit’s glow.
All my life,
is devoted to eternal light, oh my darling.
All my life.

All my life.
