I was looking through some of Loveshadows mixes when I came across this beautiful piano piece he had sampled. It has been remixed before but I thought after 10 years of lying mostly dormant it qualified!!

Based on a letter I wrote to my children from my first marriage when I left them and my wife for a dream that could never be. Not a proud moment.

I hope you’re too young to feel my pain and doubt
I am stupid and selfish and my strength has run out
I have tried to be stronger but the pain is too much
I will leave here tomorrow but I’ll still keep in touch

Oh your mother will care for you each and every day
And she always will love you though she drove me away
I’m ashamed at my weakness but to stay would be wrong
I need space to recover so you can’t come along

I will always think of you wherever I go
You will make my life bearable when I’m feeling low
And your smiles will convey me through each and every day
The future is brighter at least thats what I pray
