The samples for the next contest are up and they are truly a great addition to the site and Commons.

Vieux Farka Toure’s music is the perfect blend of tight yet loose. It’s been described as Saharan/Mali blues and that’s very apt because the musicianship is world class but the playing on the tracks loose and very soulful. This is good stuff, amazing for remixing and sampling.

There over 50 pre-cut loops and the original raw studio tracks, go get ‘em.
