It drives me on a fake url, with a bad link who load a spy or a virus…
only on clicking the ccmixter url. An issue to clean this shit ? Calyman. |

Can you say what page and what link this happens?
Need to know in order to fix it Thanks, Apoxode |

On the header bar, top right “Search Find Content” now links to some externally hosted Javascript.
The same is embedded in the page footer, so it automatically loads with each page (no click needed). It might be in other locations too - look for the host java-query dot com It’s a typical MO for a cryptocurrency ad scam, but that remote JS file can turned on/off or changed to do almost anything at any time - that’s why it’s obvious to some folks and invisible to others. |

Oh, I didn’t know, I have that particular script blocked by default.
Thank you, Beluga Ten for the info, I have sent a notice to the admins. If anyone else who experienced this can send more info such as the site name/address, it might help solve this faster. |

Hi Calyman,
Can you give the name of the website that the link goes to? If you don’t want to go to the page again, it should be listed in your browser history. I’m trying to figure out if ccMixter was hacked, or if there is an issue with an external script (java-query.com ?) Thanks for your help |

Thanks for your help I’ve tried for 3 seconds ago, all is okay… somebody fixed it ? And on google search (sorry to not use a fair one) ccmixter result is considered as a dangerous url (no ssl certificate) |

Thank you all so much for reporting this issue. ccMixter’s volunteer tech team is working on it.
