Recently an amateur live recording of ElRon and myself playing with Rayfield “Houston Guitar Slim” Jackson (r.i.p.) at the defunct Billy Blues bar and grill surfaced. ElRon and I played weekly at Billy Blues for more than 6 years during 1990s. It’s a typical booming dance hall recording but Slim is loud and proud.
