Would it be acceptable to post FL Studio "zipped loop packages" as sample/source files? I notice a lot of people use FL but there are no such packages here. What would ccMixter etiquette say about such postings?

Folks have uploaded host specific files, in fact I may have uploaded an FL project, I don’t actually remember.

The thing you have to be careful about is that when creating a "bundle" with FL, ACID, Sonar, etc. very often ‘stock’ samples, soundfonts, patches, etc. are included in the final bundle and as I’m told over and over again by CC legal staff: posting them here would be an explicit violation of most of their licenses that prohibit redistrubtion of the loops/samples "as is."
