The Marriott Library at the University of Utah hosted an Open House on February 19, 2015 wherein students, alumni, patients, and faculty recorded pre-selected healing quotes and interviews, registered for the project and met some of the doctors and faculty facilitating Music for Healing. Music for Healing is a collaboration between ccMixter.org and the University of Utah Schools of Medicine, Music, Business, Lassonde Entrepenur Institute and Marriott Library – to facilitate the creation of a new collection of music that focuses on healing while also supporting patients and their families.
