uh. how to download tracks??

i know that this is about the lamest question ever, but how do i get a copy of an original song saved onto my computer? when i click download it just plays in quicktime….??
is there a way to transfer a song from your database to my computer? thanks… |

no problem at all… on Windows right-click the Download link and select ‘Save Target As…’ or ‘Save Link As…’ on Mac it’s control-click and ‘Download Link to Disk’ (something like that).

I still have no idea how to download from this site. I downloaded thunder earlier but don’t know how I did it. perhaps an easier way would be available or in the works.

I was only able to try with an iPhone, but I don’t think it’s possible to download from ccMixter with a mobile phone (I could be wrong though). When you have a chance to get to a PC or Mac, the download links are found in the song page: Look for where it says “uploaded:” (it says the day, month, year, and time) Underneath it says “Stream” and “Download” click “Download” *For PC, right-click the first file listed (to the right of the file size). Then click “Save Target As” — on some browsers it might say “Save File As” *For Mac: Hold the “Command” key while you click the first file listed (to the right of file size) Then click “Save Link As” Hope this helps PS What kind of phone are you using? There might be a way with different phones … |
