It seems several mixters have been uploading original songs and remixes under the banner of ‘Samples’

I’m wondering why this is? The links on the left (if you are logged in) clearly say ‘Submit A Song’ and ‘Submit Samples’ and headings for the upload forms are clearly marked as well.

Is there some confusion about the user interface? I ask because the ‘Submit Samples’ category was originally intended to be a place where remixers could look to download pre-cut samples and loops, including archive ZIP files.

We just want to make sure we didn’t miss usage scenario or are presenting musicians with confusing choices.

This was indeed a bug on our part. It is (should be) fixed.
