I’m not very good at writing english lyrics. On the other hand: I find it very hard to make a good track if the lyrics is not ok. What do you guys do about this? It ther a place like ccMixter for lyrics?

All the vocals on ccMixter are licensed for use in derivative works. That means that you could actually take any of the lyrics found in any of the ccMixter works and use them in your own song as long as you credit the original author and (depending on the original license) don’t use it in a commercial context.

Basically, ccMixter is already that place you’re looking for. :)
