Face(tm)palm. Honestly when are we going to face(tm) up to the idea that some words are too commonly used to be trademarked. I’m hoping they do an about face(tm) here. Deface(tm)ing the English language to secure trademarks! What will they think of Next! (NextBook…. hmmmmmmm!!!) |

thanks, I just dropped by to check out the forum and I learned something today.
FTA: “Of course, the trademark for Face is nothing new. Facebook has already trademarked “Like” and “Wall.” ” Sounds really weird if you think about it, but increasingly trademarks are used in ‘strategic’ ways like patents, prompting companies to trademark just about anything you could imagine. So will we be seeing a TM war between Facebook and Apple with regards to Facetime(tm) or perhaps Joomla will be in double trouble with their FaceWall(tm)?
