I have a electric bass and I must recognize that I haven’t a clear idea of how must it be treated to obtain a good sound, that is, how to EQ it, how compress it (if it is necessary), how to prevent audio conflicts with other instruments like kick drum or guitar… :(
I usually record it by line (I don’t have a bass amp) following my instinct that, probably, is the worst instinct to record basses in the world.
I need some tricks or advice (don’t say me “put new strings”, I know it, he, he).
