I’d like to submit my first remix - this was originally going to be an entry in the Debenedictis contest until I realised I’d sampled something from elsewhere on this site that’s not allowed for the competition.

(I’d still like to upload it so I can at least say I’ve uploaded something!)

I’m having trouble finding all the source material using the "I used samples from" box (after I click "submit a remix"). Specifically the Below a cappella, Shiva in Exile, and Hans Christian.

Can I upload my mix first (after selecting the one track I sampled that I’m able to locate), then browse to the aforementioned files on the site and link them to my already-uploaded track from there?

use the ‘Submit a Magnatune Mix’ and select the Magnatune artists you mentioned.

On the last screen UNCHECK the ‘this is a Magnatune contest entry’ checkbox.

We’ll fix up the the other ‘I sampled this’ stuff after the this contest.

I wasn’t able to credit eightprime for the samples from Lords of Sleep, but the rest worked - at least the track is there.
