yes, on balance I like the capability of deleting one’s own posts. In this case it nuked a bunch of good stuff along with it.

I liked the lo-fi/tape links you had posted. Not that I’m into the lo-fi scene myself, But those links are are great case in point for the diversity on the web, and that one can find one’s village, if one just tries a little. Reminded me of the sites dedicated to the Atari ST (my first music computer - the good old days!). Amazing stuff there, too.

Too bad indeed; at least it was a thought-provoking thread, but it is up to whoever started the thread… I’ll just make sure I save copies of posts/replies in the future, when I’m enjoying the conversation ;)
