Salut !
I am searching for the following song a singer (m/f) who wants to be creative and add the vocals or a musician who will remix the song ! :-) It´s a little song I recorded with a good friend to demonstrate the possibilties of minimal equipement (Laptop+AudioCard+Midi-Keyboard). I don´t wanna give a subject or theme to keep the creative flow and add a pic of the cover … perhaps this helps for inspiration ! :D The recording process can also be very flexible: - record vocals, mix the song, post it - record vocals and post just the vocals by mail or host - etc. The song will be a birthday present and I hope for many creativity ;-) ALL DOWNLOADS ARE DIRECT DOWNLOADS ! i’m not sure on how long it may take, i have sent it out to a few vocalists i know, so its baited, we just have to see if they bit, so i don’t have a definate answer… send me an e-mail throu my profile and we can talk more!!!

we don’t restrict on bitrate. but each upload is limited to 10mg and we don’t take uncompressed WAV . If you have wavs you should compress using flac then zip them up. You’ve got lots of options and you’ll get a whole lot more remixes if you upload here.

Finally ! :D
I got the first version of my track with vocals ! (mixed by Brendan Ether) A big thxx goes to BRENDAN ETHER from Virginia ! He did an awesome job and rocked the monkey ! actually over 76% of threads have replies, however if you remove the ‘pluggy’ section that number jumps to 98% reply rate — iow, people don’t respond to plugs.
and just so every one knows: linking to your upload here in the ‘pluggy’ section does not increase the number of downloads or listens to your track or sample. just fyi, people don’t browse the site by coming here to the pluggy section. If you want people to listen, rate and remix you then you shouldn’t be all that shocked that you are being ignored when you have not listened, rated or remixed anybody else. |

If me I will not be listened, rated etc. I will not do so to others .. simple as that ! If the pluggy thread is worthless time so remove it !
I listened to several tracks and musisicians here … but where should I post such a project as mine ?? There are so many lazy people who are not capable to write a comment, so a project like this with month of work and really enganging artists should not be placed here … it´s just worthless ! It could be better here in the plug forum I guess and it´s not the right way to just take it like it is ! Hey guys !
I finally did hand over my present (the presentation of the project “Punch The Monkey”) and the guitarist freaked out ! :D He liked all contributions and thanks all artists involved in the project ! He did see the hard work behind this project and the artificial work of the collaborators ! ;-) Every track has his unique and shows a lot of great talent and musicianship, after him ;-) So I think all the honor goes to the artists and I personally want to say that this project did blow my mind ! At the beginning it was a search for a singer to complete the track and now the project is still running and that’s a blast ! ;-) Of course such a project shows all of different characters and as a project manager you have to deal with all mentalitys … some are stoked from the beginning and did a quick but excellent job .. some other found a million reasons why they can’t do it ;-) I think it was a representative cross section of the people around the world and the world is smaller you expect :D Big thanks and shout out to: Skin Contact/Synthgeek (KVR) Ether (KVR) Jazzyspoon (KVR) Teru (ccMixter) Nexxus (cubase.net) Joe D.
