sounds more than good

Wow! There really isn’t a choice to dislike in the arrangement or production; really sparse use of reverb/delay keeps things taut and upfront, there’s an 80’s Lanois feel here (think Peter Gabriel’s So that works without coming off at all as dated. The vocal harmonies don’t feel unnatural, the lead guitar only speaks at just the right points, the pads are just the right shade of cool/icy for their chords, and the drums swing right along driving the affair. Whoever might think themselves tired of this pella (and after almost 10 years of it, I don’t begrudge the sentiment!) should give this a listen.
