i also started a bit experimenting with Ardour (and Hydrogen)
Ardour is a little complicated, learning to handle it is gonna take a while. But it has been very much improved I must say.

Hydrogen I like a lot. Very nice drum computer. A bit basic, but very intiutief and easy to handle.
