Small question: why aren’t you uploading as ccPlus?

Frankly, I don’t understand ccPlus. I know that a remix upload defaults to the license of the samples used, both yours and Javo’s are BY-NC. Can a mix be both BY-NC and ccPlus? Or do you mean why don’t I upload my samples/stems as ccPlus?

As long as all the stems you use are tagged ccplus, you can upload your remix as ccplus.

The NC-part is for ‘general use’, however, you can buy a license to use it for commercial purposes. So commercial use: pay. And we get filthy rich! ;)

I see now that both yours and Javos are tagged ccPlus. So, all I have to do to make my remix ccPlus is tag it ccPlus?

No that doesn’t work. If you go to properties, there should be a box saying ‘ccPlus Opt-In’. Right below the description box. If there isn’t, you might have to send the staff an email, telling them you want to be part of the ccPlus-program.

I think I’m getting it now. I just re-read a fairly in depth email that snowflake had sent to me in response to my inquiries about ccPlus. I do have to contact admin to opt in. Which I will do post haste. Thanks for the prodding.
