Speck Africana jazz with a beat.
Gotta love Speck with a beat. Noticed you listed three DAWs in “What I pound.” What is you DAW of choice these daze? |
.
AcidPro has always been my main DAW. I use Reaper for a few things like conversions (if I’ve downloaded something that won’t open in Soundforge it’ll usually open in Reaper so I can convert it to something that will) and extreme time stretching. Also there are a couple plug-ins that I can’t get Acid to recognize that I use Reaper for, and ReaPitch is pretty cool. So basically Reaper is great for the stuff Acid isn’t so great for but Acid is what I’m used to for arranging so I’ve stuck with it. I use Reason for the instruments, or for making beats with ReDrum. If I’ve played something in a mix it’s probably through Reason, which I then edit/tweak in Soundforge before adding to the Acid project, where it’ll probably be subjected to further tweaking.
Or, short answer, Acid. While every effort has been made to insure the accuracy of this response neither Speck, ccMixter or it’s affiliates assume any responsibility for the information contained therein. Subject to change without notice. ;) |

To retort ccm:
While every effort has been made to insure the accuracy of this response neither Speck, ccMixter or it’s affiliates assume any responsibility for the information contained therein. Subject to change without notice. I started with Acid Pro 7. And will keep this user friendly software to create. Creativity comes from mind and soul . The tools in Acid are just like Sketchup vs Autocad (Pro Tools and more) The soul is in the (creation) music, not the 0.001.01.001 01. Bravo Speckos, keep the music |
