REALLY good , oh Doctor of all that is digital. Great to hear a new poem by ejc showcased so beautifully.
Just read your post that this is an old poem of emily’s, so I recant, but still like the poem & mix. |

Thought provoking, of course… To me, the music seems to debate the line “nothing comes from anger”… sooo… on purpose or not… that’s pretty cool.

There is a mint-coolness and stillness about ecj’s writing and spoken word which make a fascinating contrast with the crunchy weight of your setting for her. Good one.

One of my favorites from you. Should be on performed on a stage with Tom Waits. A beautifully crafted track and combination of elements. “Nothing comes from anger.” I needed this today.

when hearing what you do with my stuff i’m 1) intrigued and 2) inspired and 3) surprised about what the samples appear to have in them. really and truly. apologies that that i haven’t been very responsive lately and apologies that i never comment as much as your mixes deserve but well you know that i do value very much what you do with my soundings. this mix is just another example. i make a tin of beans, you open it and create a meal.
(you’re quite prolific and as i miss so much won’t be able to comment on all your uploads(at least not just now but i may well do over time)). thumbs |
