In this case mostly amplitude modulation (impossible to remember the exact recipe). I like to save a few variations of fx on each loop so when I reassemble I have choices or can make combinations.

I inferred it to mean something like “that narrow genre which you can’t seem to step out of”. But here I would say the same thing about your sound and mean “that music that defies definition and keeps pushing new boundaries”. So. Yeah.
