What’s crazy is that I’d written the lyrics and a similar melody a while ago and tried singing that over multiple instrumental tracks at MixterPlus and ccMixter (including All Alone) — when I saw For Days Long Ago had an instrumental that’s what I listened to first and knew my song would fit with only slight melodic and tempo modification! I need to go back and listen to yours with the vocals now to hear the crossover. The collective consciousness is incredible, how we feel and hear so many of the same things at the same time.
