“And so I reach to you, with the best part of me. The art of me.”
I love that. I also love the title. This piece speaks to my foundation- I’m sure I’m not alone. Copperhead’s percussion was an inspired choice for this… lots of room for continued creativity… Completely awesome. |

There are so many pearls in your lyrics here and I especially like what you wrote “How can we artists at ccMixter make “the music dry up”?
The truth is, the music is multiplying. The truth is, the music is magnifying.” I never would have envisioned the percussion by itself and a spoken word. Thanks for the terrific remix! This definitely requires more than one listen to grasp it all. |

glad you liked it! i tried on several different samples and instrumental tracks before hearing your percussion sample. I knew immediately it was the right pairing! Thanks for diving into the lyrics — I was really in flow ;)

I always love me a good taiko drum groove. Martial advocacy. :)
I love that you pulled off the om without it sounding out of place in the spoken word. |

Thanks for noticing that delicate Om placement Admiral. It was a real challenge for me! :)

I’ve been listening to this remix for days now and didn’t realize I hadn’t said anything here. Certain lines just keep thrilling me in this piece. Great juxtaposition of your rich calm voice and the throbbing rhythm of Copperhead’s drums. Bravo!
