i mean, its a well recorded and performed vocal with no effects, and no layers. if only everything ever uploaded here was that clean… i get not everyone has the means to do that, however.

then, to force really pitchy / wavery vox into correct pitch with software sometimes sounds so brutally unnatural that it distracts from the song, especially when vocals need to be really upfront in the mix.
