Oh that’s really lovely. Great shakuhachi playing Rob.
So emotional. Thanks for picking this one, it’s my favorite. |

Thanks mate. It’s always a relief when the secret artist approves!

I think your shak playing is a beauty by itself. Very useful upload.

You picked a wonderful sample from Doxent and added room with the shakuhatchi and the decent percussion.
Wonderful and relaxing. |

Lovely and quite in keeping with the shifting seasons theme. Thanks for uploaded the shakuhachi stem as well.

absolutely beautiful. your shakuhachi is wonderfully played, with expressive air and dynamic. it fits perfectly with the piano, like you played together in the same room. despite its melancholy (hang in there), this track feels quietly hopeful.

Affecting… I’m in that same place… and this is the perfect accompaniment. Beautiful. Raw. REAL.

What made Joe Raposo such a great arranger and composer for Sesame Street was that he wasn’t afraid to include emotional complexity in his pieces; he never thought kids don’t experience, or should be sheltered from, mixed emotional states. That’s what I like here, the honesty.

“The best I could do was to put some simple shakuhachi with his piano. ”
Well seeing it sounds so moving and effective i would say keep it simple going forward. Very lovely track. Enjoyed!!! |
