Not a Texan expression.
Seen it used in synth presets names.
Moogish means like moog.

I love the tones of the guzheng. It’s probably the grandaddy to the Japanese koto. I have a koto (back in Australia) which I’ve fooled around with a bit. The only tune I’ve uploaded to mixter is this one:
