not indulgent at all. great interplay between the guitars, nice interlude, & good strong build throughout. gotta love it.

Hi Ivan … your soaring guitar work does very well against yhe back drop of the original track. A wonderful epic feel is generated. Did you think about a fade out at the end so the quest could go on and on ?

Funny thing: I accidentally hit a harmonic note (you might hear it at the end) when recording the final part for the lead melody. It sounded nice, so I decided to use it. That sort of determined how the song ended, LOL.

Come to think of it, I prefer the idea of all quests having an end. A neverending quest sounds too tiring! Philosophically, I believe all good things must come to an end. When that happens, we just look for another good thing. In that sense, the larger quest does continue. Right. End of ramble.
