the arrangement is very nice and guitars sound sweet. the mix is a little ‘dark’ - sounds like it missing a compression/eq pass on the master (?)

Victor’s right it does need a bit of “brightening up” and the vox needs to sit better in the mix as it is competing with too many other frequencies.
The work itself is really, really beautiful and deserves to be re-engineered as it is so good! |

REALLY pretty, Ivan. you & n9 are a great combo every time. my only production trick would be to duplicate each track 2-3 times and adjust the mixer faders as needed. i like the sound of this track a lot.

Thank you for listening, panu moon. I think it’s really narva9’s vocals that brings out the essence in the track.
>>> my only production trick would be to duplicate each track 2-3 times and adjust the mixer faders as needed >>> Yeah, I can try that. That’s the extent of what I know too, LOL. |

I like this. Brings me back many years, to many excellent influences. But I won’t drop a list of references, because you have a sound of your own, and it’s quite beautiful.
There are a few minor fixes that could polish this a bit more - but it’s like talking about polishing a nice piece of jewellery. :) |

Very kind of you to say that, colab. Perhaps too kind? LOL Ah… I hope I didn’t give the wrong impression with my responses above. Though I did say I’m fine with some imperfection, I welcome whatever comments/ critique from the ccMixter community. Every input goes into the next song. :) |
