I think the basic idea is great. it’s smooth jazz like but on the right part of the edge. some sounds and mix can be bettered imo. I would love to work on this song. Melody is fantastic!

Marco almost summed it perfectly!!! Thats pretty much what I felt after listening to it. Its one of those pieces that could cover a number of genres by making small changes here and there. Sounds really sexy and moody. Add a catchy vocal hook and you have a real strong contender!!!!

After hearing P. Chilla’s Mistaken Identity, I decided I had to hear the original and now I know EXACTLY why he was inspired to work with this piece. I never got tired of the main chord progression/melody, and it there are so many little thing going on here. I’m curious as to what type of artist was this originally for(male or female for starters)…I may take a stab at writing something to it.

echoing Sunbyrn’s statements…I had to check this out to see how Chilla utilized it. This is a great mix…I really like the dirty bass and vibes in this.
