A lot of different movements seem to move Anchor’s voice along: the folky introduction, the bass and hihat combo, the violin and sax,and then finally a return to the folky groove, but with a whistle riding over it.
Its a very complex and interesting mix. |

I’ll try not to use the word interesting, not that it isn’t. It is. It occurs to me as I listen that this must be what it’s like for people to listen to my mixes. It’s non-standard enough that the brain doesn’t really recognize/process it right off. On first listen my brain is picking out all the ‘uncomfortable’ things. On second listen it makes perfect sense and makes my brain very very happy. Interesting.
