Thanks, I think that is a very accurate description. I fell in love with that whistle sample as soon as I heard it. Downloaded and immediately started planning a composition.

Thanks. Glad you like it. It seemed that the classic sounds really complimented the whistle nice. And I thought that contrasting the classic sounds with some modern style sounds would bring out and invoke two significant different feelings from the track. It is light and whimsical at times and yet dark and brutish at the same time at times (as colab mentioned). I only wish I could have made it longer. I didn’t because I thought that it would become too repetitive which would have the potential to completely ruin it. So I kept it short and sweet, and gave it lots of character.
