Even if there were only the voice sample/EP combo to go on, I’d love this… tender, yet abstract, in a way that should appeal to more than just the likes of me.

Thanks Ducket. I too, really like the vocals and wanted to use them as the focus and body of the track. I think the background melody and ambience sounds a little muddy now, so I may clean that up a bit and upload a clearer/cleaner/remastered version of it sometime this week. I appreciate your input as usual.

Love it, I really liked what you did with the raw street recording. It does have a summery feel to it - much like a hot, humid & noisy street auction in Singapore.

Nicely done!!! In case you’re not aware, the auctioneer in Jude Yew’s recording is speaking in Hokkien, a Chinese dialect. In the opening of your mix, the auctioneer is saying: “Eighty-two, going twice”. It’s interesting for me (as a local from where Jude made the recording) to hear a juxtaposition of something so utterly local, with a musical feel from literally halfway round the world.

Awesome! Thanks for the insight! This is very special to me. I love creating music that touches people personally. I really like using sounds that people can relate to and hear in their every day lives. Sounds that people recognize and touch their heart with it again through music.
