First of all, thank you for this remix. I am enjoying all aspects of this piece. It is very ambient and artful. The tones you use are perfect.
I am starting to see all the different ways one can use samples to create a song; one way is to change the texture/chord progression underneath the existing vocal. Another way is to create a sort of “dreamscape” where the the vocal is dissected so you use only a line, or many (but re-arranging the structure) as you did here. I am a fan of both. This is a masterful example of the latter.
