This is a complete transformation of the original melody of the song, even though you’ve hardly altered snowflake’s voice.
I’m always impressed by people who can pull that off, without it being obvious that the singer’s singing to a different beat. I like the dark pulse toned beat that you have constructed…. open for the vocals to sing over. In fact, its only weak point is in the last 40 seconds or so when the piano comes in and kind of drowns out the singer. You might want to turn that bit down a little (though I know you’re trying to build up.) |
