To be honest, I guess, the beginning is the track is really bad.
The music is too quiet and don’t fit with the vocal. But then, it follows a strong increase of cool sounds and percussion, which are closing slowly a ring round Loveshadow’s voice. And this really works and sounds really good! |

I learned a valuable lesson the other day. One should not mix and drink (Yukon Jack on the rocks) while attempting to compose. What you think is very cool in your ears at the time, turns out to be very different when you wake up the next day. I’m glad you finally enjoyed this… I was going to take it down and bury it, but I will keep it up here as a reminder. ~tim

Oh yes, I assure you I have had similar experiences (for me mainly caipirinha).
Well, perhaps an important part of making music… |

hahaha - i know what you mean! have had many a next day listen to a mix, and wonder, what was i thinking? however, on this piece, i think it is quite good. it does gather strength as it progresses, but the beginning ain’t so bad either ;)

Its an interesting blend and makes me hear a few alternate possibilities for the lyric.
Thanks for mixing me up ! |
